Osesp, Orquestra Sinfônica do Estado de São Paulo
The Osesp, Orquestra Sinfônica do Estado de São Paulo, the Symphony Orchestra of the State of São Paulo, was in Paris, and hailed by the french daily “Le Monde“. And on the front page no less, amidst election articles.
“On Thursday May 29, Parisians will discover Osesp, the most prestigious brazilian orchestra.” The subtitle continues its praise: “How, in only ten years, a mediocre formation has become an exceptional group, thanks to the work of conductor John Neschling.”
And in the article by Renaud Machart, on an inside page, a louder title: “A musical miracle hails from São Paulo.”
