Avery Fisher Hall, last night, October 17, 2007. Imogen Cooper playing Mozart’s last Piano Concerto (No. 27 in B-flat major, K595 - 1791). Her playing evoked the following writing from me:

“The notes, created by effortless stroking, individually and in single file, flowed form the piano and traveled seamlessly to trickle into my eardrums and tickle my auditory senses into a poetic transe.”
